I love making things from clay.  I use several different types of clay to throw pots and bowls grouped into ‘families’ each different but each reflecting others in the group. Each family will be similarly decorated with slips and under glaze colours.  I have recently been inspired by Tudor pottery, particularly items from the ‘Mary Rose’, Henry the VIII’s ship.
